Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

ADHD is a mental health disorder most often diagnosed in childhood or the teenage years. Again, ADHD can be tough to spot in teens and young adults because many of the symptoms mimic typical teenage behavior. However, if your teen or young adult exhibits any of the following symptoms to the extent that they interfere with daily life, they may have ADHD.

  • restlessness

  • disorganization

  • poor school performance

  • trouble following instructions

  • forgetfulness

  • impulsivity

  • inability to concentrate

  • careless mistakes

If you’re unsure whether or not your teen or young adult struggles with ADHD, I can provide a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. Whatever the evaluation reveals, I will provide expert guidance on the next steps to get them feeling more like themselves.
